8 days Botswana: northern wildlife wonders by plane

The trip starts at the city of Maun, welcoming you with its typical Botswana vibe and the closeby Thamalakane River.

On your flight to the Khwai Community Concession, you can get a glimpse of the Okavango Delta from above, maybe even spotting elephants or hippos. Upon arrival, you explore the Khwai to see vicious (but also pretty cute) predators, buffalo herds and unspoilt nature at its best. A trip to a traditional Khwai village puts the cultural cherry on the safari cake.

Savuti wows you with four ecosystems and the crème de la crème of African wildlife that would even make the Serengeti blush.

And last but not least, Chobe Riverfront astonishes as the elephant capital of the world, being home to more than 120,000 elephants. Want to watch them play in the river? Certainly, just hop into a boat to see them up close, together with hippos, crocodiles, and countless other animals quenching their thirst at the shores.

Between these unforgettable moments, you can relax in cosy and welcoming lodges of our silver, gold or platinum category, leaving no wish unfulfilled.

Upon arrival in each new lodge, you can pick the two activities you want to do in this destination. These are included in your package and carried out by the respective lodge. Check the links in the daily outlines below to get an idea of what’s possible.
