Saddle up and explore the stunning Cape West Coast on horseback, starting just outside Paternoster between Stompneusbaai and the farmlands. The trail begins on a working farm, giving you a taste of the rural landscape before reaching the pristine shores of Paternoster Beach. Rides run daily at 9 AM and 3 PM and are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders – booking is recommended. Each guided ride lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes, with a maximum of 6 riders per group, and you’ll need to arrive 30 minutes early. Riders must weigh under 100 kilograms and children under 8 are unfortunately not permitted. For your comfort, long pants and closed shoes or hiking boots are recommended.
