At Africa Safari Trips, we ensure your journey is smooth and enjoyable by offering 5 reliable, road-trip-ready vehicles. Your travel consultant usually quotes the most suitable vehicle for your route, but if you wish to up- or downgrade, here are your options:

About your rental
Share the wheel
A good thing to know is that the rental fees include one additional driver (make sure you both carry a valid license with a picture and at least one year old), which means you can take turns driving with at least one other person, and both can enjoy taking the wheel and the views!
Unlimited mileage
When you rent a car with us, there is no limit to the number of kilometres you drive, as long as you stay on the route provided, of course! If your itinerary starts in one place and ends somewhere else, or if you decide you need the car delivered/picked up more than 25 kilometers from the planned location, please note that an extra charge will be added to your bill.
Fuel and tolls
Our cars use fuel, and the rates are usually a bit lower than in most European countries. In addition to toll fees, fuel is at your expense, and you must return the car with a full tank at the end. Unfortunately, charging stations for electric cars are still scarce, so this is not an option we can currently offer.
Inside the car
All of our cars are fitted with air conditioning and a GPS unit. And once you have chosen the car you want, you can customise it according to your needs. Travelling with your family? Baby seats are available. Can’t wait to share the stunning scenery online? Opt for Wi-Fi onboard! For more details, refer to the additional charges list and book everything directly at the rental office upon arrival.
In case of an unexpected event
In the unlikely occurence you get into an accident, you are insured for general public liability, but not for personal accident. And last but not least, we are sorry, but if you like speeding, traffic fines are on you!
Please note that the above mentioned included services only apply to the rental of the VW Polo Sedan, the Haval H6, the Hand Control Toyota Corolla Quest Sedan and the Toyota Fortuner.
For the Toyota Hilux 4×4 safari vehicle only rental charges are included. All other fees are paid upon pick-up/drop-off.
