5 DAYS SOUTH AFRICA: CAPE TOWN HIGHLIGHTS

From $811 USD* / Colourful streets of Bo-Kaap / 5 days

*price p.p. incl. rental car and hotels, excl. international flights (based on four persons)

5 days of iconic views, rich history, and coastal magic.

If exciting highlights are on your to-see-list, ascend Table Mountain, cruise to Robben Island, and visit the cell where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years in captivity.

But there’s so much more to South Africa’s most famous city: you can wander the colourful streets of the Bo-Kaap, sip award-winning wines at Groot Constantia, and explore the lush beauty of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

If your heart beats in the rhythm of the sea, head to the legendary Cape of Good Hope for the perfect picture on the ‘Southernmost tip of Africa’ and to Boulders Beach, the home of brave (and clumsy) African penguins.

Cruising Chapman’s Peak you can not only enjoy incredible vistas, but also meet the cute seals of Hout Bay. You want to finish your Cape Town shenanigans in style? With a champagne sunset cruise and some serious shopping at the V&A Waterfront you can do just that.

Cape Town’s greatest hits, perfectly played.

Explore all of this by yourself during an unforgettable road trip. If you want to learn more about this country during your trip, our guides will be happy to drive and show you around at extra cost.

Day 3

Drive to Hout Bay via Chapman's Peak

Chapman’s Peak Drive – called “Chappies” by the locals – is one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes, stretching 9 kilometres between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. With 114 curves hugging the mountainside, this iconic drive close to Cape Town offers jaw-dropping views of the Atlantic coastline. Built during WWI, it winds along the cliffs of Chapman’s Peak, part of the towering Constantia Berg. Hout Bay, on the northern side of Chapman's Peak Drive, is a twenty-minute drive from Cape Town. This charming seaside town features a bustling fishing harbour, over 40 restaurants, quirky art and antiques shops and a lively weekend market. And on top of that, it's your gateway to Seal Island.
