Tsodilo Hills Half Day Excursion from the Okavango Delta

Three rocks rising from the Kalahari Desert have pulled people in for 100,000+ years, and this half-day excursion shows you why. You fly by helicopter from the Okavango Delta to Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northwest Botswana, where a guide walks you through quartzite caves covered in over 4,500 rock paintings, some dating back 26,000 years. While here, you see traces of the people who lived here: pottery, tools, iron, glass beads, and carved bone. The return flight crosses the panhandle lagoons and floodplains back to your camp.
