Kunene River walk while staying at Epupa Falls Lodge

Start the morning on foot beside the Kunene River, following sandy tracks and riverbanks on a guided walk that lasts 2 to 4 hours. You walk at an easy pace, with stops to look for river birds, vervet monkeys, animal tracks and Nile crocodiles across the water. Baobabs and palm trees line parts of the route, while your guide points out wildlife and signs you might miss on your own. The walk gives you time to take in the river at ground level, with the Kunene beside you and wildlife keeping things interesting…!
