Shipwreck Lodge is the only accommodation on the desolate and world-renowned Skeleton Coast in the far northwest of Namibia. Just a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean, 10 shipwreck-lookalike cabins are fitted with an en-suite bathroom with a shower, twin beds, a fan, a coal stove, coffee and tea facilities, a desk and a private deck allowing you to relax and watch the Atlantic sunset with a complimentary glass of port. Getting here is an adventure on its own: you enter the Skeleton Coast National Park and drive the gravel road towards Möwe Bay – this is where the staff will pick you up, and where the last cellphone signal dies. Don’t worry, there’s Wi-Fi at the lodge!
