Palmwag Lodge lies about 80 kilometres west of Kamanjab, right on the Uniab River with stunning views over the Palmwag Concession and a skyline of makalani palms. This area is well known for desert-adapted elephants, black rhino and lions. The lodge offers 24 rooms (2 of which suitable for families), all ensuite with shower and fitted with air-conditioning, mosquito nets, a fan, coffee and tea facilities and a private terrace. The main area includes a beautiful pool, a bar and a restaurant area, and there are some excellent (self-) hiking trails available. Guided morning and afternoon game drives and bush walks are also organised by the lodge.
