Okonjima Plains Camp

Sunset over Okonjima’s plains looks better from your own veranda than anywhere else – that much becomes clear fast. Within Okonjima Nature Reserve, Okonjima Plains Camp honours the Hanssen family’s cattle-farming roots with 11 View Rooms (with wide views across the grass plains) and 14 Classic Rooms (which are slightly smaller), each with a private en-suite bathroom and hot shower. A central barn serves as the social hub of the camp, pairing indoor and outdoor dining with a lounge full of quiet corners, a curio shop, and a terrace looking out over a waterhole. A swimming pool offers a break between game drives, leopard tracking, and guided bush walks. There is Wi-Fi, and the camp welcomes families and wheelchair users alike!
