Moditlo River Lodge

Moditlo River Lodge is a 5-star lodge inside the 10,000-hectare Blue Canyon Conservancy and about 50 kilometres from Kruger National Park. The 18 rooms (generously spaced and connected to the main area by raised wooden walkways) feature air-conditioning, a private deck, a free-standing bath, a walk-in shower with a view, and a minibar for those lazy afternoons. The lodge’s main area has a thatched-roof restaurant, a cocktail lounge (with sunset views!), a pool for cooling off, and a TV room for those who simply must keep up with the score. Lean into long, lazy lunches and boma-style dinners beneath the stars – complete with South African classics and a glass of wine, warming your hands by the fire. Due to the lay-out and nature of Moditlo River Lodge, children under 8 are not allowed.
