Loita Hills Basecamp

Loita Hills Basecamp is an eco-friendly tented camp at the foot of the Loita Hills in the Maji Moto area between Nairobi and the Masai Mara National Reserve. A stay here allows you to explore the authentic Maasai culture while enjoying nature in its purest form. Enjoy the view while sleeping in small basic tents under thatched roofs in a campsite built with purely natural materials, such as clay and wood. Amenities are basic but nice with comfortable beds, eco-friendly toilets and outside showers under a starry sky. The camp offers a plunge pool and lots of activities that allow you to get in touch with the Maasai, such as making a fire, finding animal tracks or learning about medicinal plants.
