Kazile Island Lodge

Set on a private island alongside the winding Kwando River, still within Bwabwata National Park, Kazile Island Lodge is only accessible by boat… and the 11-kilometre short river crossing creates the feeling of entering a completely untouched wilderness. 13 Meru tents are surrounded by lush forest, immersing you in the sounds, scents and secrets of the Zambezi landscape. Watch herds of buffaloes, elephants and sitatungas, an elusive aquatic antelope, wander along the floodplains from your private wooden deck. All tents overlook the river, are ensuite with shower and fitted with twin beds, mosquito nets, a safe and Wi-Fi. Dining at Kazile Island Lodge is an alfresco experience, set on an elevated wooden deck, featuring fresh seasonal ingredients and carefully crafted Zambezi flavours.
