Hakusembe River Lodge

Thatched chalets and green lawns meet the Okavango River at Hakusembe River Lodge, 16 kilometres west of Rundu! The lodge has 20 chalets, including 12 triple rooms, six twin rooms and family units – with some facing the river and others set among the gardens. Each comes with an en-suite bathroom and shower, air conditioning, mosquito nets, a mini bar, tea and coffee station, safe and private veranda. A cold-water swimming pool sits among the trees for a quick cool-down, while the thatched restaurant and bar serve meals with river views from the wooden deck. WiFi covers the practical side, while bird calls and the sounds of the river provide the background (not a bad soundtrack!).
