Elephant Valley Lodge

On the edge of a waterhole where elephants come to drink, Elephant Valley Lodge has 20 Meru-style safari tents set among trees and garden areas. The camp is split between 12 forest tents and 8 valley tents, each with twin or double beds, an en-suite shower, flush toilet, basin, and a private veranda facing either the forest or the waterhole. Ceiling fans, electricity, electric blankets in winter, and charging points mean comfort is not sacrificed for atmosphere. The main area brings guests together in a thatched dining space and open deck where meals are served daily, both buffet and plated, with a mix of local and international dishes. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day, and a swimming pool sits nearby for use between activities. In the evening, you can gather (along with other guests) around a boma fire while animals move through the waterhole in front of camp.
