Dead Valley Lodge

The Dead Valley Lodge lies at just a short hop from the world-famous Dead Valley (what’s in a name?) at Sossusvlei. Beautifully designed to let the desert come in without trading in comfort, it boasts 20 free-standing luxury tented chalets. They all feature a double bed, a kitchenette, a private en-suite bathroom with shower, fluffy towels, toiletries, and a veranda for those epic dune views. Climate-controlling air conditioners keep things refreshingly cool after scorching desert days, but also the swimming pool beckons for quick dips.
