Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Sitting on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Amboseli Sopa Lodge is set on 200 acres of private property at just a 20-minute drive from the Amboseli National Park. The lodge has 83 rooms including a honeymoon suite, 6 interconnected rooms and 2 wheelchair-accessible rooms. They are spread around beautiful wooded gardens in varied cottages decorated with Maasai inspirations. Each room contains a veranda, a fully equipped bathroom, wide comfortable beds and high ceilings. Here you enjoy fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the swimming pool and many areas, sip on a drink at one of the three bars, admire some vibrant Maasai handicrafts in the market in the lobby or purchase a souvenir in the kiosk. A bit further, over a small bridge crossing a fish pond, you can savour different freshly prepared dishes in the Kibo Restaurant designed as a traditional African hut. Last but not least, the Mawenzi Terrace also offers a barbecue option with an outdoor dining area.
