Agulhas Country Lodge is in Cape Agulhas, about 2.2 kilometres from Agulhas National Park, built from natural limestone against a rocky hillside. The lodge has eight en-suite rooms, all with sea-view balconies. Some rooms have twin beds, while others feature queen-sized extra-length beds with hot and cold showers. There’s air conditioning, a heater, a TV, and a tea and coffee station in every room. After a long day, the bar’s enclosed balcony serves up spectacular sea views, or you can settle in by the fireplace with a Cuban cigar and a glass of cognac. Meals range from a diverse breakfast of yoghurts, fruits, cold meats, and pastries to hearty lunches and dinners with local seafood, grilled meats, and South African classics.
