Wine tasting at the Opuwo Country Lodge

Now is your time to discover some of the best wines from Namibia. The Opuwo Country Lodge offers a guided wine tasting, featuring four regional wines primarily sourced from the Erongo Mountain Winery in Omaruru. Namibian wine is rare and unique because it’s produced in one of the world’s most extreme and arid desert climates, with vineyard temperatures reaching up to 50°C. The experience is conducted on-site near the lodge’s impressive wine cellar and veranda overlooking the Kaokoland landscape, and pairs handpicked selections with local sunset views. Taste 2 whites and 2 reds with a snack platter to share, containing a variety of cheese, biltong, crackers, fruits & nuts. Your favourite of the four wines you tasted, will be served at dinner later on.
