Drive from Saint Lucia to Johannesburg

The total distance from St. Lucia to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg is 580 kilometres. It takes seven to eight hours to get there, depending on traffic. The fastest route generally involves taking the N2 highway north towards Ermelo, then using the N11 and N4 all the way to Johannesburg. Take a lunch break in Ermelo; there are plenty of restaurants and petrol stations around the highway, and afterwards it’s just another 200 kilometres to the airport.
