Good to know!

We offer hotels in three price categories. Our Silver Class hotels are best priced, and offer excellent quality with all the amenities you might wish for. They are just a bit more basic than the hotels from our Golden Class, which offer more luxury in terms of design, services, or locations. Our Platinum Class hotels are the most luxurious hotels that Kenya has to offer. You’ll usually find these accommodations in fantastic locations, where they serve the most exquisite food and offer the best service possible.

A choice between lodges or safari tents

Mostly you will sleep in lodges or resorts (on the beach) with ensuite rooms spread over a garden or along a beach. We prefer smaller lodges for our clients (5 to 50 rooms) with great personal service, although in some cases the bigger hotels offer added value in terms of activities and amenities. Our lodges usually lie in great locations, where animals roam around freely, or where you enjoy a magnificent view.

During your safari, you can also choose to sleep in safari tents. These large walk-in tents can be found in tented and/or mobile camps (the ones following the Great Migration in the Masai Mara National Reserve). They look like lodge rooms in terms of size but have walls and roofs made of canvas and natural materials. This allows you to hear the sounds of the African night while sleeping safely in a proper bed. All tents are nicely decorated with decent furniture like comfy beds, a desk, some chairs, an outside terrace, and a private bathroom. The more luxurious ones might even boast sofas, a plunge pool on the terrace, a fireplace in the tent, an outdoor shower, or a bathtub with a view. All set up in such a way that your modesty and privacy are protected of course!
