Just 4 hours separate the red-earthed wilderness of Tsavo East National Park from the turquoise waters of Watamu. The road passes briefly through Malindi before curving down to this quiet, protected bay...shifting from elephant-filled savannahs to sea turtle waters in a single, rewarding drive.

Watamu is a fishing village 100 kilometres north of Mombasa, boasting white sand beaches and crystal clear ocean water.
