Salt Lick Safari Lodge

The Salt Lick Safari Lodge is located right in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, it offers a breathtaking view of the nearby waterhole (reachable by a tunnel to get even closer!) and the surrounding nature. The lodge in itself is worth a visit, with traditional two-storey roundhouses, elevated on sticks above the Tsavo plains. The rooms are well-appointed with an en-suite bathroom, while the restaurant offers delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Lunch, however, is served at the restaurant of sister hotel Taita Hills Lodge, allowing you to visit its World War I Museum. Once back at Salt Lick, you sleep and dine with the elephants at your feet – a unique experience!
