Gorilla Leisure Lodge (Rushaga Sector)

The Gorilla Leisure Lodge is a beautiful and comfortable accommodation in the Rushaga sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It’s an intimate lodge with just 12 rooms (among which one family cottage), all boasting views of the misty jungle of Bwindi. Rooms are lovingly and eco-friendly decorated with materials sourced locally, and boast large beds, ensuite bathrooms and private verandas. In the morning, you can enjoy fresh coffees on your verandah or in the restaurant, while in the evening the restaurant is perfect for delicious sundowners and sumptuous dinners. The starting point for gorilla tracking is close, and what’s more, this lodge is a great place for connecting with local tribes as it works with and hires people from the surrounding communities.
