Xigera Safari Lodge

Deep in the Moremi Game Reserve on a private concession in the Okavango Delta, Xigera Safari Lodge (pronounced “kee-jera”, after the pied kingfisher) is as much a living art gallery as it is a safari lodge. The lodge has twelve large suites and one family suite, each with a private en-suite bathroom, indoor space, and an outdoor deck with an open-air shower and daybed. Elevated walkways link the main areas, where you find a swimming pool overlooking the floodplain, a gym, and a small spa with two treatment rooms. Meals are served in different spots around the lodge, from the main dining area to outdoor bush settings, and private dining in the suite is also possible. The whole place runs on solar power, while the suites still include air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and plenty of space to relax after long game drives (or simply watch the lagoon from your deck!).
