Kidepo Savannah Lodge

Background mask

Kidepo Savannah Lodge, just 500 metres away from Kalokudo gate, literally finds itself at a stone’s throw from Kidepo Valley National Park. It’s a basic but cosy lodge that offers unrivalled vistas of the expansive Narus Valley, Mount Morungole and the border with Southern Sudan. The twelve ensuite safari tents on raised wooden decks boast a simple but comfortable set-up with one double or two single beds, and the bathroom (featuring a basin, a shower with cold and hot running water and a flushing toilet) as a special touch as it’s located in a small traditional roundhouse built next to the tent. Besides, a private terrace with a small table and some chairs allows for the most amazing views over the outstretched savannah. The thatched roof bar and restaurant area are great for sundowners and lovely lunches (2-course) and dinners (4-course). Because everything on site runs on solar power, there is a fixed menu but the chef gladly takes any dietary requirements into account.
