Il Ngwesi Eco Lodge

Perched on the edge of the Mararoi hills of the Laikipia district, Il Ngwesi Eco Lodge is a sustainable lodge nestled within the conservation area of Il Ngwesi Group Ranch. Owned and run by the Maasai community, the lodge is off the beaten track, overlooks waterholes, and boasts breathtaking views towards the Samburu valleys.
Each of the six spacious rooms can accommodate up to four people. Open to the bush, they are adjoined by rope bridges and made of natural materials. Tucked in nature under their thatched roofs, the rooms allow you to relax on your comfortable bed and freshen up in the open-air bathroom. Some also have private verandas where you can spend your evening stargazing. When you need to recharge the batteries, stretch your body in the pool after your game drive and head to the restaurant to grab a freshly prepared meal, then enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep to the sound of the wilderness.
