Grays Eden Sanctuary

Grays Eden Sanctuary is a boutique retreat on the banks of the Thamalakane River. You stay in one of 5 thatched villas or 7 cottages, all featuring high ceilings, light wood finishes, and private en-suite bathrooms with airy showers. The 12 rooms include ceiling fans for the heat and fireplaces for chilly winter evenings, as well as large verandas overlooking the water. You can splash in the swimming pool or grab an à la carte meal at The Eden Kitchen, where the chef focuses on local produce. What’s more, there is even a wine cellar. Last but not least, a riverside firepit offers a spot to relax while hippos and crocodiles drift past on the river.
