Next to the longer boat safaris, there are also several short boat trips (around 1.5 hours each). One of them is the Sunset Cruise around the central part of Murchison (Paraa). The boat takes you to visit the hippos and crocodiles near the Nyamsika sandbank or downstream amongst the small reed islands.
