"Point to Point" hike to the Point of Human Origins in Mossel Bay

Walk in the footsteps of humanity at Mossel Bay’s remarkable Point of Human Origins – where DNA and archaeology trace some of the earliest modern humans back more than 150.000 years. This full-day, guided “Point to Point” hike combines exclusive access to the Pinnacle Point caves with a scenic 9 km stretch of the iconic St Blaize trail, offering dramatic coastal views and fascinating Stone Age sites along the way. The hike takes three to five hours and departs at 9 AM from the Pinnacle Point Golf Clubhouse. Access to the caves involves steep wooden stairways, so a reasonable level of fitness is recommended… sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, water and a camera are essential!
