During this chimpanzee trekking tour, you’ll venture into the stunning 11-kilometre-long Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, also known as the “Valley of the Apes”. With a professional guide you’ll make your way through the lush greenery of the tropical rainforest searching for our closest relatives. Even if the chances of actually finding are as low (or high) as 50%, you don’t want to miss putting this natural wonder on your travel itinerary. The hike itself is a highlight, just as the other animals who call the gorge their home, like monkeys, baboons, snakes and many bird species. We’re crossing our fingers nevertheless!
