Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge

On this chimpanzee trekking tour, you’ll explore the stunning 11-kilometre-long Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, also known as the “Valley of the Apes.” With a professional guide, you navigate the lush tropical forest looking for chimpanzees while meeting other animals, including baboons, snakes and various bird species. Trekking is done in groups of up to 6 people, typically lasts 2–4 hours, and requires proper hiking shoes. Please note that the minimum age to participate in this tour is 12.
