On this chimpanzee trekking tour, you’ll explore the stunning 11-kilometre-long Kyambura Gorge in Queen Elizabeth National Park, also known as the “Valley of the Apes.” With a professional guide, you navigate the lush tropical forest looking for chimpanzees while meeting other animals, including baboons, snakes and various bird species. Trekking is done in groups of up to 6 people, typically lasts 2–4 hours, and requires proper hiking shoes. Please note that the minimum age to participate in this tour is 12. Also, consider that it needs to be booked well in advance, as spaces are limited and trekkings require a permit.
