Camp Tuludi (named after the Setswana word for a leopard’s markings) is in the Khwai Private Reserve – 200,000+ hectares of floodplains, lily-covered lagoons and riverine forest in the northern Okavango Delta. The seven spacious, air-conditioned tents (six twin or double, one family) are linked by elevated wooden walkways winding through the shade of giant leadwood trees. Inside, you find en-suite bathrooms with a bathtub and indoor and outdoor showers; outside, a private plunge pool and sunken seating area overlook the floodplains (and yes, each tent gets its own plunge pool!). The main area is raised on decks with sofas, a firepit, a large swimming pool, an open dining space, and an open-fronted gym. Dining is relaxed and varied, with set menus and alfresco meals often enjoyed beside the firepit under the stars.
