The Fernery Lodge and Spa

The Fernery Lodge and Spa is at the base of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, next to Tsitsikamma National Park. The feature lodge offers several rooms (some with private terraces featuring breathtaking views) with large ensuite bathrooms with underfloor heating and heated towel rails, and nice extras like bar fridges (stocked on request), fireplaces, air conditioning, WiFi, satellite TV and coffee and tea facilities. There are also family units with a kitchen and plunge pool. Meals are served in a glass-fronted dining room overlooking the gorge, or on the outdoor deck for that classic South African “braai” (salads, meats, desserts, and wine all included!). There is a pool, a sauna, and a jacuzzi, and if you need more downtime, the spa is located on the hillside above a 30-metre waterfall!
