On the Beach Guesthouse

On the Beach Guesthouse is right on the sandy shores of Jeffreys Bay, about an hour’s drive from Gqeberha (formerly named Port Elizabeth) Airport. The guesthouse has 11 rooms and suites, and most open straight onto the beach with sliding doors, patios or balconies. All rooms sleep two adults (except the suites, which sleep four), and come with en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, air-conditioning as well as espresso machines for that proper caffeine fix. Breakfast is à la carte, and there’s an upstairs bar with massive ocean views. Beach chairs, towels and umbrellas are provided if you want to go to the beach, and there’s a proper South African ‘braai’ area in the indigenous garden.
