Leroo La Tau Lodge

On the western bank of the Boteti River – the lifeline of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park –  Leroo La Tau Lodge puts you front and centre for one of Botswana’s great wildlife spectacles. The lodge has 12 thatched, glass-fronted suites raised on individual wooden platforms, each with a wide private balcony and sweeping 270-degree views over the river valley as well as en-suite bathrooms with a shower, double hand basin, and toilet. The main lounge and dining area serves both buffet-style and individually plated meals, with dietary needs catered for and a selection of wines at dinner (premium drinks at an extra cost). A fully stocked bar, a curio shop, and a swimming pool on the rolling front lawn fill the daylight hours nicely…and come evening, the boma and fire pit on the cliff edge of the Boteti River Valley make for a rather atmospheric sundowner spot.
