Kuzuko Lodge

Kuzuko Lodge is at the end of the Garden Route in the Eastern Cape, near Addo Elephant National Park and about 2.5 hours from Gqeberha (formerly named Port Elizabeth) Airport. The lodge has 24 thatched chalets, boasting king or twin beds, a lounge area leading to a private deck, and a bathroom (featuring a walk-in shower, a bathtub, and a separate toilet). Five chalets fit families (with sofa beds for kids), and three are wheelchair accessible. You can lounge by the pool, hit the gym, or unwind at the bar when not out on game drives. And when it comes to meals, expect Karoo high tea (think quirky bites!) and a four-course dinner with local twists like Karoo lamb or spekboom salad.
