Ithumba Camp

Ithumba Camp is an eco-friendly tented camp at the foot of Ithumba Hill, Tsavo East National Park, originally designed to facilitate elephant orphan ‘foster parents’. The camp has 4 makuti-roof-covered tents for max. 8 people with bedside tables, comfy beds, a veranda and a connected open-air bathroom with a dressing room. This camp is for exclusive hire, so no other guests will be booked at the same time, making it a great place for families and groups to stay. It’s also a self-catering camp where you can make use of the well-equipped kitchen (a chef is available on request). Come together to the main area, a thoughtfully decorated, wide open space where dining, lounging, and comfortable wildlife viewing from the rooftop terrace take place.
