Apoka Safari Lodge

The Apoka Safari Lodge is beautifully hidden in Kidepo Valley National Park. Surrounded by the vast savannah and majestic mountains, the lodge offers lovely appointed and elevated rooms with canvas walls under high thatched roofs. The 10 rooms on poles are decorated with handmade, wooden furniture, offering luxuries that give you stay just that little bit extra; outside bathtubs sunken in stone with views over the Kidepo savannah, inside showers with a view, seated balconies, comfy sofas, and lovely beds. The communal pool is also sunken in stone, looking out over the savannah, with the occasional wildlife even climbing the rock just behind the pool…! Last but not least, guests praise the food served in a comfy main hall under thatched roofs. Located in the middle of nowhere while offering all this – this lodge almost feels like a mirage.
