Mombasa is Kenya's second-largest city, beautifully located along the Indian Ocean. The town dates back to the 12th century, which is especially clear in its oldest part. This Old Town lies on an island and vibrates with people, laughter, chaos and street food. Browse the narrow streets, visit Fort Jesus for your dose of history, explore the spice market, and end your day in one of the restaurants on the waterfront offering amazing sunsets and mouthwatering seafood.
