Say goodbye to the tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth National Park to join the beautiful savannah plains of Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest national park close to Kampala and Entebbe. This is one of Uganda’s three parks where you can find the Burchell’s zebra and for the longest time, this was the only area where you could see impala – leading to the name Kampala (a hill of impala) for its capital. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, and you can either take a power nap or enjoy being on the lookout for the unique wildlife of Lake Mburo National Park!
