The Old Hatchery

The Old Hatchery is in the southern Drakensberg section, surrounded by the uKhahlamba Drakensberg Mountains and the uMzimkhulu River. Rooms feature ensuite bathrooms with a shower or bath, and some include fireplaces or viewing decks. Plenty of guest lounges, patios and braai areas invite you to relax and enjoy the mountain views. The house restaurant, called The Waterfall, is aptly named and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner from a spectacular elevated wooden deck overlooking a trout dam.
