Masindi Hotel

The Masindi Hotel lies just 20 kilometres from the famous Murchison Falls National Park, making it a lovely place for an overnight while visiting Uganda’s largest national park. Built in 1923, the Masindi Hotel was host to famous personalities such as Ernest Hemingway, Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn and has an eventful history behind it. The comfortable and spacious ensuite rooms are available as single, double and triple rooms. There is an additional VIP suite with a separate living room and bedroom and up to 8 people can be accommodated in a cottage with a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a private courtyard. In the Kabalega restaurant, the kitchen team will spoil you with a selection of international dishes, before you can take a trip back in time in the Hemingway Bar, filled with memorabilia.
